Marcia Simmering Dickerson, Ph.D., is an award-winning educator and researcher with over 25 years of experience in people development. She is currently the Francis R. Mangham Professor of Management at Louisiana Tech University, where she has been a faculty member since 2003. She holds a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in Management from Michigan State University. She has the SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications, and is a certified executive business coach. She and her husband Steve live in Choudrant, LA, with their daughters Lydia and Josie.
